Containing a host of alkaloids, with the primary alkaloid being Akuaminne, Akuamma affects the endogenous opioid system, hitting the delta and kappa opioid receptors. *Similarly to kratom, users of Akuamma have described a physical relaxation, analgesia and slight euphoria associated with its use.
